Camille Paloma Walton

Camille Paloma Walton is a Jeweller based in the Kapiti Coast. She was brought up in Pōneke by creatives - with her mother being a sculptor and her dad being a painter, naturally she grew up to be a creative herself.

Camille studied Jewellery Design at Whitireia Polytechnic and also explores a variety of other practices that influence her jewellery making. Her work emulates the texture and expressiveness of paintings and sculpture, using a variety of forms and colours, all combined with etched details.

Camille is inspired by traditional shapes which are elevated with her own personal twist, skilfully using a varied mix of materials, playful colours and scales. Her work is expressive and often concentrates on a particular subject adorned with gem details creating beautifully unique pieces.
