Donna Hughes from Innate works from her studio based at her home in Lyttelton, Aotearoa. She make contemporary jewellery in sterling silver and gold with occasional gemstones.

Jewellery is a signifier – representing power, culture, familial lines, relationships and personal narrative. For Innate it is how she chooses to display identity, a personal aesthetic and an intimate history. She is drawn to the raw, imperfect but also to the elegant and refined.
