Hailing from Japan and proudly calling New Zealand home, founder Yuka Maud brings her delightful sense of humour and a unique passion for clothing design to the heart of her brand. Inspired by the artistry of origami, many of her clothing designs feature a harmonious blend of triangular, linear, and circular fabric elements.

In both structure and geometry Otsu is soft and indulgent, bringing contrasting elements together and producing a sense of intersectional layering that allows these garments to move across the boundaries of gender, culture and body form.
