TRIPPEN

The bag is a reference to the trippen name, signifying wooden under-shoes, or pattens, that were strapped under delicate shoes in the Middle Ages to protect them. The bag and its “under-shoe” are held together by thick leather straps. Two inner pockets can be closed with magnets.

The leather is slightly imperfect due to the handmade nature of this object.
